Exploring the global art scene in Maryland is one of my favorite pastimes, and I was lucky enough to discover The Walters Art Museum in Baltimore during my visit last fall. Moreover, there is nothing much more inspiring and immersive than unfolding the hidden treasures of art in Maryland. One of the best things to do in Baltimore is exploring the ancient art of Baltimore and learning about the cultural diversity of the state. Besides, I spent almost four hours there and still couldn’t get enough of walking through the exhibits in different sections of the museum. It was literally one of the best and memorable excursions of my life and I learnt a lot about the different cultures and art in Maryland. For me, this is really one of the best free museums in Baltimore I have ever visited so far, an unparalleled artistic world to explore without any cost. Isn’t it amazing? Schedule for Visitors

  • Closed – Monday and Tuesday
  • 10 AM to 5 PM – Wednesday to Sunday
  • 1 PM to 8 PM – Thursday

Parking

Get free or metered street parking near the museum. However, members can enjoy the benefit of lower parking fees at 600 Cathedral Street parking lot. Also, advance reservations are available.
