To boot, my friends and I were all excited to indulge in the aerial adventures in Maryland when we visited this place last time. The top four tree-top activities include:
1- Zipline
Terrapin Adventures zipline is one of the most famous attractions, garnering visitors to catch the stunning views of the forest from the top. Moreover, it allows you to experience the feel of freedom when flying over the trees at the speed of 20 miles per hour. Additionally, the 330 ft. long zipline in a safe environment is something you won’t want to miss if you are looking for unforgettable outdoor fun in Maryland. Besides, the professional staff will make sure of your safety (harness, helmets, belts, and everything) before allowing you to glide the trees on a zipline. We thoroughly enjoyed each moment of the ride and witnessed the lush views of the 30 ft. tall trees surrounding the gorgeous landscape.
2- High Rope Courses
Featuring three different levels of high rope challenges, Terrapin Adventures Savage is an ultimate destination for testing your strength and skills. Furthermore, 19 different challenges including cargo net transverse, cross bridge, wobbly log, will allow you to push your limits and navigate through different obstacles. Besides, this is a great practice to improve your agility, confidence, team-trust, and focus on 40 feet height. To boot, you can wrap off the journey with a fearless leap of enjoying vine walk, island sky, raider bridge, and tyrolean traverse. I tried the 3 level high rope course with my friends and it was a next-level experience. The dangling ropes and challenging obstacles made me question my decision of opting for this high rope course. However, coming over each challenge and moving forward towards the next, each step was exhilarating and joyous.
3- Giant Swing
Bringing your adventure into high gear, Giant Swing is another action-packed activity to enjoy at Terrapin Adventures MD. Choosing this adventure was the most thrilling and memorable experience of my life. All of my friends were excited but I was a bit nervous and thought of quitting at the last moment. Anyways, this was more like testing my strength and how daring I am (lol). So, as we dropped from the height, my heart missed the beat and I was screaming out of fear. However, the sound of air and stunning forest scenery brought a smile to my face after the first drop and I felt like flying in the sky. Although this was a heart-racing adventure for me, it became one of the most thrilling parts of my visit there.

4- Climbing Tower
A kid-friendly activity at Terrapin Adventures Savage, Tower Climbing offers multiple climbing options, suitable for all ages. Moreover, each grip and step needs strategy, confidence, and strength as you move towards the challenging structures. Let’s be frank, I have a fear of heights, but wanted to push my limits and try something new. So, I convinced my friends to climb the tower because many of them were tired and didn’t want to invest more energy .
Long story short, we ended up buying tickets and venturing on our mission to reach the highest point (which probably seemed impossible for me lol). The happiest and most exciting part was when I left all my friends behind and hit the end mark. This was like a challenge to my fear and strength and I truly enjoyed the feeling of accomplishment after reaching the target point. Moreover, kids ages above 8 can also experience the tower climbing with any of the 8 routes. There are giant ladders, cargo nets, belay down, massive tiers, and big logs.
