I have always been into sports since my childhood and love to seek inspiration from various Olympians from my hometown, Annapolis. Luckily, my father is a trainer and witnessed many athletes from Annapolis to secure their name in world championships.

Born in Annapolis, Maryland on 1 November 1981, Farrah Hall is two-times Olympian and among the top Olympic athletes from Annapolis. Her parents, William Hall and Linda Hall, were native to Annapolis when Farrah was born.
She took her initial education in Broadneck High School, Annapolis, Maryland. After this, she went to St. Mary’s College of Maryland for graduation in Biology. She started shaping her career as a windsurfer in Annapolis during her education period.
After marking her name in various national and international records, she unveiled her debut blog, “Off the Wind”. In this blog, she narrated her experiences and learnings throughout her windsurfing career, putting light on her personal and professional life as an athlete.

Debbie Meyer opened eyes in Annapolis, and got her initial swimming training at U.S. Naval Academy under the supervision of Sherman Chavoor (U.S. Olympic coach). Later, she moved to Sacramento, California and continued her education in American River College.
Facing asthmatic problems since childhood, Debbie never compromised on her passion for swimming. She laid the foundation of “Debbie Meyer Swimming School”, dedicated herself as a swimmer instructor.
She was a true forerunner in her sports career, representing her birthplace and hometown proudly across global platforms.

Debbie Meyer is a three-times Olympian, garnering the title of top Olympic athlete from Annapolis, Maryland.
She was the first female swimmer to collect three gold medal titles from the same Olympic games.
Debbie won gold medals in three varying lengths of freestyle swimming at the Mexico 1968 Olympic Games.

Matthew Centrowitz was born in Beltsville and grew up in Arnold (Suburb in Annapolis). He started education at Broadneck School Annapolis and began his journey as an athlete from school and gained the title of track star.
His father, Matt Centrowitz, is also a two-times Olympic athlete and a track coach. His sister is also included in one of the elite runners and competed in many Olympic trials.
In middle-distance races in his school, he was counted among the most talented runners, as he set various national records at a very young age.
Later, he stuck to his running career after graduation and took part in many international competitions. In short, Matthew steals the limelight in today’s running matches and becomes one of the famous Olympic athletes from Annapolis.

As a specialist in 1500 meters, Matthew won the gold in 2016 Rio de Janeiro Summer Olympics. In addition, he finished the 2012 London Olympic Games in 4th place (1500 meter race) and accomplished 15th position in Olympic Games Tokyo 2020.
